The steps

1. Open Citeo’s client area
On the registration page, choose « J’adhère pour mon entreprise » (I am joining for my own company). The other path, for service providers, is not yours.

2. Enter your company, contact and signatory details
Citeo asks for the full details of your company, of the person in charge of the relationship with Citeo, and of the person who signs the contract. Copy them from the table below.

3. Choose 2026 as the start year
Choosing the current year (year N) gets you the UIN straight away. Choosing next year postpones your UIN to next year, and your listing stays blocked.

4. Sign the contract online
The person with the « Rédacteur » access checks the data and can invite a « Signataire », who must be a person affiliated with your company. The contract is signed online, via DocuSign or directly on the site.

5. Wait for the confirmation, then the UIN
Citeo confirms the membership within a few days. Once the membership is validated, Citeo sends your UIN within 8 days maximum. Tell us as soon as you receive it: we upload it to Amazon.

Documents to have at hand
- Your signed EPR mandate. Citeo’s FAQ says a service provider managing your contract must provide a management mandate or a power of attorney, as the case may be. It is in your documents.

Points to watch
- Only a person affiliated with your company can be invited as « Signataire ». Do not invite France REP or GABEM in that role. (Citeo client area terms of use (CGU))
- Citeo’s FAQ asks companies established in the European Union for an intra-EU VAT number. It does not say what it asks a company established outside the EU. (Citeo FAQ « Mon adhésion »)
- Declarations are annual: packaging placed on the market from 1 January to 31 December is declared between 1 January and 28 February of the following year. (Citeo FAQ « Mon adhésion »)
